Hi, I’m Ana

Welcome to Prayer and Productivity!

My desire for this space grew out of something very simple and ordinary: trying to live my Catholic faith faithfully in the middle of a full family life.

As a wife, mother, and homeschooler, I know how easily the days can fill with responsibilities, plans, interruptions, and very good things competing for our attention. Over time, I began to see that productivity is not simply about getting more done. It is about ordering our time around what matters most.

Prayer & Productivity is a place where I share what I am learning about growing in faith and virtue, creating a meaningful rule of life, managing time intentionally, and bringing greater order, beauty, and purpose to everyday family life.

My hope is that what you find here is some encouragement, inspiration and helpful tips for building habits and routines that make room for prayer, the people God has entrusted to us, and an approach to ordinary life with greater peace and intention. Following the motto of St. Ignatius of Loyola, may we strive to do all “for the greater glory of God.”

A Home Filled with Love

St. Thérèse has always been a beautiful reminder to me that holiness is often found in the smallest and most ordinary parts of life.

Her Little Way teaches us that we do not need extraordinary circumstances to love God well. Prayer, family life, work, homemaking, planning our days, caring for others, and even the tasks that seem insignificant can actually be our greatest opportunities to grow in faith and virtue.

That perspective has shaped much of what I hope to share here:

  • The practices that help us make prayer a real part of our days rather than something we are always trying to fit in.
  • The routines, planning tools, and habits that bring a little more order and peace to busy family life.
  • The books, devotions, traditions, and resources that encourage us to keep growing in faith.
  • And the simple ways we can bring beauty, purpose, and greater intention to our homes and the ordinary work entrusted to us.

St. Thérèse wrote, “My vocation is love.” I return to those words often. They remind me that prayer and productivity are not really separate things. How we use our time, care for our families, fulfill our responsibilities, and attend to the little things can all become part of a life offered to God. That, to me, is what Prayer & Productivity is ultimately about: living the ordinary parts of life with greater faith, intention, and love.

How prayer and productivity began

Prayer and Productivity grew from a desire to bring faith more intentionally into the ordinary routines of everyday life.

I have come to believe that productivity is not simply about accomplishing more. It is about using our time with greater purpose, making room for what matters most, and learning to approach our responsibilities with faith, intention, and love.

It is not about perfect schedules or perfectly ordered lives. It is about continually returning to what is most important and finding practical ways to live that out in the season we are in.

Here at Prayer and Productivity you’ll find:

  • Encouragement for growing in prayer, faith, and virtue
  • Practical ideas for planning, routines, and intentional time management
  • Inspiration for creating a rule of life that works for the season you are in
  • Spiritual reading, Catholic resources, and favorite finds
  • Ideas for bringing greater beauty, order, and purpose to home and family life

My hope is that when you visit, you leave encouraged—not simply to do more, but to live the life God has given you with greater peace, purpose, and love.

Welcome to Prayer and Productivity

Whether you’re looking for encouragement in your prayer life, practical ways to use your time more intentionally, or inspiration for bringing greater order and beauty to everyday family life, I’m so glad you’re here. My prayer is that Prayer & Productivity becomes a place that encourages you to grow in faith, live with greater purpose, and find grace in the ordinary moments of each day.

I’m so grateful you’re here — and I can’t wait to walk this journey of prayer and productivity with you.
And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
